Someone on SCS posted some great stamping demonstrations by Linda H.  I got some great tips to pass along.  My favorite was - how to get colored Au Chocolat paper by just applying ink.  I tried markers and brayer on these 3 cards.  But then I thought about sponging the saffron ink for the flower center of the last card,  and I liked that application the best of all.

Here I used Pixie Pink, because I had already made these cards with Big Blooms and just added in the matching color with markers.  I think a softer color would work best overall.  Again notice the use of Everyday Flexible Phrases.  If you don’t have this set already - you know you want it!

This card fits a legal sized envelope.  The cardstock is 9 by 8, score at 4.  The colors of ink are almost amethyst and so saffron.  I made the strip wide enough so I could push the word window punch all the way through.   Otherwise, it is very difficult to line up when you need an enlarged window.
