Treat Pouch tutorial

The instructions for this treat pouch are from an old issue of our demonstrator magazine.  Someone on SCS suggested that it would be a good project to showcase the new double-sided papers in the Palette-O-Prints (May special).  Since the papers in this sample pack are 6×6, I have scaled back from the original 8×8 pattern.

1.  Fold your 6×6 sheet in half to make a triangle.

2. With the fold at the bottom, measure up 2 1/2 inches and place a mark on both sides.

3.  Fold up one corner until it is just BELOW the mark and the tip is ALMOST to the edge of the paper.  (The photo is not quite in perspective).  Repeat with the other corner.

4.  Fold the top corner down, over the other 2 flaps.  If you follow the written instructions on step 3, the top flap will line up perfectly (unlike the photo).  Adhere all 3 flaps with a little piece of sticky strip.

I hope my daugher doesn’t mind that I scrounged through her Easter candy stash for a suitable treat to put in the pouch!

Tag! OK, it’s like a virus going around, but you’ve been tagged again. You should list 7 things about yourself on your blog and then go tag 7 other people. Play along if you’d like!

I really enjoy your blog — keep up all the great inspiration!
