Ribbon Butterfly
I think that these butterflies made with the SU Ribbon Originals were first introduced at an SU Regional training seminar last fall. Since the Sweet Shop ribbons are a perfect match for the new Palette o Prints designer paper, this was a perfect time to give one a try!
1. Cut 2 inch pieces of 2 of the ribbons for wings and a 5 inch piece for the body.
2. Make each wing by picking up a glue dot in the center of the ribbon while scrunching it together.
3. Tie a knot around the body, placing the knot at the top.
4. Trim ribbons if needed.
And here is the final card. Stamp set: Wonderful Words.

Hi Kim,
I was just looking at a card that used these on the SU! Stampers Showcase and was going to show my club these next week. I am so glad to have found your blog with measurements - it’ll save some prep time to have these pix and numbers to go by. Thanks so much! - Ann
