Today’s Tip – Dry Embossing with the CAD

Filed under: Projects — July 31, 2007 @ 7:21 pm

Here’s a cool tip that we learned at convention using the Crop-A-Dile on one of our make and takes.  Set the blocks so that 1 and A are facing each other.  With the base at the bottom, squeeze the CAD on a piece of cardstock.   Make an evenly spaced line of embossed circles by lining up the black blocks for the next “squeeze”.

Here is our finished project – a pocket card made with the Wanted stamp set, scallop punch, Outlaw paper, jumbo eyelet, and wide grosgrain ribbon.  Contact me to purchase your own Crop-A-Dile and other great Stampin’ Up! products.   My contact information is at the right in the Demonstrator Website link.

    Neat Idea! I have had a ‘pink’ one for a year now and love it, even with carpel tunnel and rhuamtoid arthritis I can work it :}
    I love this tool & here is one more reason to love it. Great selling point!

    oh, thanks so much! I saw this used in the new catty, but wasn’t sure exactly which “plates” to use. Now I don’t have to do the experimenting! 🙂

    I tried this the other day because I saw it on your website. It works wonderfully!! But, does yours leave a fine line in between the circles?
