My challenge to myself this week was to make some 3×3 love note cards and matching 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 cards.  I think I succeeded in showing the versatility of this kit - and with the free love notes this month it can’t be beat!  Remember - order by the 20th and get all the additional supplies needed to make the 30 cards pictured in the flyer (see class by mail link to the right).

The highlight of my convention trip was hanging out with my fun roomies Edie and Jennifer.  Here we are in our GOT SWAP tshirts in the page we made during the pajamarama party.  Our cool convention bag has a 12×12 display pocket.  The flowers are from the Build a Flower accents and elements.  The outline alphabet was colored in with just a Versamarker!

Here is the gift I gave my roomies.  The tins are covered with the new Le Jardin designer paper with Soft Sky ribbon and Pretties kit flowers died in Soft Sky and River Rock.  I just pressed the flowers into my inkpad, but at the convention we learned 2 other easy ways.  You can brush on pastels with a sponge dauber or pick up ink from the lid of your inkpad with an aqua painter.  You can also run a line of color with watercolor crayons and spread with the aquapainter.  The half pearls just add the perfect touch.
