World Card Making Day

Monday, October 8th, 2007

Today is the last day to order the Simply Sent kits on sale!

Here is a card that didn’t make the lineup for my World Card making day event.  I wanted to do a non-standard sized card (this is 3 x 6), but I just liked the other ones better.  Stamp set:  Sidekick sayings.   Prints designer paper - So Saffron.

World Card Making Day

Friday, October 5th, 2007

My event is all set up at Grace Church and I can’t wait until tonight!  Here is my last card for the event and also my special for this weekend.  All of the Simply Sent kits (p. 12-14 in the catalog) are 20% off through October 8th.  My special is FREE SHIPPING ON YOUR ENTIRE ORDER.  Contact me soon (kim@craftdoc.com).  I take paypal or credit card so your order can ship directly to your house.

This easy card uses the Fast and Fun Notes set with matching wheel.  You can color the images with Stampin’ Write Markers or use the ink from the lid of your inkpad with an aquapainter for a muted, watercolor look.  For the event I changed to Sage Shadow, since I have a self inking cartridge in that color.  It looked great colored with Cameo Coral, Apricot, Sage and of course a card base of textured Groovy Guava.

Here is card #6.  We have 22 signed up for the event, and I am starting to cut cardstock today - sure glad to have a Carl cutter!

This card is actually a CASE of the one SU posted on www.worldcardmakingday.com  I simplified it slightly and used different ribbon.  Stamp set is Punch Pals.   Love that scallop punch!
