Catching up again
I’m getting ready for our first scrapbooking retreat at our new church building. We have more that 15 coming for the overnighter and it should be lots of fun! Here are 3 photos I found on my computer - Embrace life is the stamp set. The first card uses the faux silk technique (stamp on tissue paper, color with marker then crumple, uncrumple and adhere).

Today’s Tip: Correspondence Cards
I call these correspondence cards. You can easily make a stack of these to send a quick note.
1. Cut your colored cardstock backing to 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 (quarters).
2. Cut your neutral cardstock to 5 1/4 by 4.
3. Wheel (or stamp) across one side. Add a sentiment if desired.
Isn’t the new wheel special great! I already have these 3 wheels (Fishy, Stems and Silhouettes and Sweet Stars) and love them! I added some quotes from the “By Definition” stamp set. These make great thank you and thinking of you notes.

I’m so proud of my son and the Red Barons First Robotics Team. They traveled to Pittsburgh for the Regional Competition this past weekend. In spite of many technical difficulties with the robot, they were in good spirits and won both the Website award and the Gracious Professionalism Award. Here are some pages from their Team Album (featuring Stampin’ Up! alphabets and punches of course).

Last Week for SAB!
I can’t believe SAB is almost over! Here are a few last projects from my files. Most are showing off the versatility of the So Many Scallops set. Contact me soon with your order to miss the end of SAB rush. You can still order the demonstrator starter kit at $40 off by using the link to the right.
Last week was crazy. We used the BBQ grill on Monday (it was 60 and spring). We had a terrible ice storm on Tuesday and Wed (see my poor birch tree).
The ice melted off on Thursday over an amazing afternoon of crackling and dripping. Then on Friday and Sat we had our biggest snowstorm of the winter - 24 inches. Here is our grill halfway through the storm.
After the storm both grill and chair were completely covered!
