Stampin’ Up -Convention swaps
This is another Ten Minutes to Terrific Swap. My WOW in this card is the paper piecing with the new Bella Rose DSP. Colors are Sage Shadow and Pink Pirouette. Stamp set is A little birdie told me.

Stampin’ Up - off to convention
Here’s a card I sent to my hostesses/downline and club members as an invitation to a catalog premier party. I used the new Sock Monkey set, Sahara Sand and Riding Hood Red. I colored the socks with white craft ink and a blender pen. A later bunch of swaps wouldn’t dry well, so I had to heat with the heat tool. You could also add clear EP and emboss. Or just use the white gel pen.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Quilt Tutorial
I haven’t posted any projects in sooo long. So here’s a Christmas in July treat. One of my convention swaps will be this Christmas Quilt card. Of course you can make the same card with any color combination. The new Heard from the Heart stamp set comes with 4 great sentiments too. The colors I used are Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss and Bella Rose DSP. SU is having a class challenge contest - I’ll have to enter this project!
1. Cut your pieces - 3×3 Kiwi base, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Kiwi mat and 6-1″pieces of DSP
2. Adhere 4 of the squares to the corners of your base piece - right to the edge of the cardstock. Add a 5th square to the center. Then cut your last square diagonally in half then in half again to make quarters.
3. Adhere the quarters to the center edge of your base.
Adhere to your mat and card. Stamp a sentiment. Try using a different pattern of squares or add a button to the center.

Stampin’ Up! - Scallop Edge Punch
The new scallop edge punch is amazing! Demonstrators are able to preorder the punch. Customers will have to wait until August 11. You just punch in the center and then move to either side and punch again lining up the previous punches on the guide. Here are some quick swap cards I made using the punch to make some rick rack designs. Take a one inch piece of cardstock. Punch your scallop edge. Insert again in the opposite direction. Find a grid mark that lines up with your previous scallop as a guide. Punch the same for the ball shape, between scallops for the rick rack. I found the punch very easy to use. The stamp set is Big on Christmas which will be back into the new catalog in August (it can still be ordered now from the dormant list).
