Beautiful Vellum

I love these cards that I modified from Patty Bennett’s design.  They are so quick and simple to make, yet so elegant.  They look beautiful in Soft Subtles colors with the vellum cardstock overlay and the Manhattan flower textured impressions die (114517 $7.95) and Satin Ribbon.   In the first 2 cards I used sentiments from Elegant Cheer.  For the last card I used a new Occasions Minicatalog set to make the wedding card.

*****  NOTE:  I just found out that Andrea Walford is offering a 50% discount on her class planners until Tuesday.  The coupon code is easter and you can buy them here  – click on Go Shopping.  You can see the one that I am offering later this month below in my March 18th post.

Tip 1- Trim around the vellum image.  Attach the vellum with Snail under where the ribbon will run.

Tip 2 – Fold in the prongs of a large white grommet.  Slide both ends of your bow into the center and pull the knot through to the front.  No adhesive needed – the bow hold the grommet in place!

Tip 3 – Use your color coach to find the correct darker shade for stamping your sentiment.  These “Dynamic Duos” are listed on the center of the Color Coach.

Tip 4 – If you purchase the Very Versatile Stamp Set ($25.95) , The White Satin Ribbon ($8.95) and the Basic Large Grommets ($6.95) from the Occasions Minicatalog, you will have just the right amount to earn a free item from p. 208 in the big Catalog.  See my April 2nd post for details.
