Fall Memories

Friday, July 31st, 2009

My scrapbooking style is very simple, especially now as I hurry to catch up before the kids get back from their summer job/classes next weekend.  Here is a page from a visit to Port Farms in 2007 using just a bit of Autumn Traditions DSP and the My Way punch.  The leaf is a Big Shot Die (Leaves #2).

Stampin’ Up! Contest

Friday, July 31st, 2009

These were my entries for the July Stampin’ Up! contest for demonstrators.  The theme was Clean and Simple.  I used the new Falling Leaves stamp set and matching wheels.  These cards also feature the new Autumn Traditions Designer Series Paper.  Contests and free stamp sets are another perk for being a demonstrator.  The $85 starter kit is still available in August.  Contact me or visit www.kwstamps.stampinup.net for details.

More Hodgepodge Hardware

Friday, July 24th, 2009

The vanilla brads add a subtle dimension to this simple card made with the new set Falling Leaves.   I used Very  Vanilla and Soft Suede Cardstock.  The More Mustard leaf was stamped twice, and the second one layered on top of the first with the leaves curled up for more dimension.

New Product Showcase - Bride Specialty Paper

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

This paper is gorgeous - the photos don’t do it credit!  The card with the hat pin (Pretties Kit) is close to the sample in the new catalog.  I just used the organza ribbon.  For the second card, I stamped in Chocolate Chip ink rather than using the Chit Chat Rub-ons.  I think the Rub-ons work much better with this paper because of the texture.  I made up a few kits with this new paper.  Each kit contains 2 6×6 pieces (one of each of the patterns), plus the ribbon and textured Chocolate Chip Cardstock, plus 2 rub-on phrases.  Each kit is $2.50 plus $1 shipping.  I also have some kits with the new DSPs - same price - each kit contains 6- 6×6″ pieces of DSP (one of each pattern) plus 6 - 81/2 x 5 1/2 pieces of the coordinating cardstocks.  Email me if you would like to purchase any kits.  I also have a DSP sampler (down a few posts).

New Product Showcase - Treat Boxes

Friday, July 17th, 2009

I had fun decorating one of the new treat boxes with the new Real Red polka dot ribbon and a tag made with the Holiday Best stamp set (Level 1 Hostess).  What a quick and easy gift box!  I made up a few kits with my extra boxes.  The kit includes 1 box, the ribbon and the cardstock for the tags.  Each kit is $2.50 plus $1 postage.  Stay tuned tomorrow for another new product - the Bride designer paper.

Class Planner

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

I always appreciate it when fellow demos use the referral links on the right panel of my blog.  The Lemonade Lady has lots of great tips for party plan consultants.  And Andrea (Demo to Demo) has beautiful class planners, many of which are now on sale.  Here is her latest:

I still have a few DSP samplers left (see below).  I also have card kits of most of the DSPs for $2.50 each plus $1.50 shipping.  They contain a 6×6 piece of each of the 6 patterns of paper in that collection plus 6 sheets of 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 of the coordinating cardstocks.   Contact me at kim@craftdoc.com to see which DSPs are still available.
