Simply Scored Diagonal Plate

I’m taking a short break in my MDS series to show you a new product that is available to customers starting today!  It is the new Diagonal Plate (#125566 for $11.95) for your Simply Scored Tool.  I quickly made a card and envelope this morning to show you how easy it is to use.  It comes with instructions to make several sizes of envelopes and you can contact me for instructions to make even more.  To make an envelope, you just make 2 score lines in each direction, snip out the little triangles, and then fold.  I also trimmed off the bottom flap and corner-rounded the top flap.  For the card, I just scored every inch in both directions and added a dot of white gel pen.  Purchase the Simply Scored, diagonal plate, gel pen and some cardstock and you will also be able to get this Outlined Occasions stamp set for FREE at www.kwstamps.stampinup.net

It’s fun being able to get the new products first!  Today, demos can also preorder a selection of new products that will be in the upcoming catalog (June 1) and featured in an April promotion.  You can do the same if you sign up at my website to join my team.  Whether as a business or a hobby, you can’t beat the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator!  Contact me if you would like more information.  The demo kit is on sale for $125 until the end of March during our Sale-A-Bration promotion.  You also get a free digital download or designer paper pkg each month that you order for the rest of the year!

FYI, I have heard that the new diagonal plate will not fit a Score-pal.  It will fit a Martha Stewart scoring tool, but it is a little harder to use because the MS walls are curved.

Here’s a photo from a Leadership display.  These 2 projects use the Simply Scored tool (without the diagonal plate).  Just to show what can be done with a bit of imagination!
