Posted: Friday, April 13th, 2012 @ 11:19 am in Projects | No Comments »

Here’s a card inspired by our demonstrator magazine.  They used acrylic paint to make the base layer, but I decided to brayer some classic ink onto a glossy cardstock scallop instead.  I then ran it through the Big Shot with the embossing folder.  I sanded off the raised color and added a different shade of ink with sponge daubers.   This would […]

Loving Thoughts

The Loving Thoughts stamp set has been a real favorite the last few months.  It is not available after April 30.  I hope it will make it to the new catalog in June, but there are no guarantees.  The twitterpated buttons and paper,  pool party bakers twine and white waffle paper are other limited items.  The waffle paper would be […]

The Send Me Soaring stamp set is only available for a few more weeks.  It’s such a fun, springy set to play with.  It would be good for graduation cards too.  This is a CASE from our demonstrator magazine.  I added the ties with the Lucky Limeade Baker’s Twine.  Class info for Tues is in yesterday’s […]

Here’s a card I CASED from our last demonstrator magazine.  Ink up the Elements of Style stamp with Daffodil Delight and then tap (or thump) the Tangerine Tango marker here and there to add some darker color.   Happy Easter!

Summer Smooches

Before I show some more of my own projects, I wanted to share some photos from Leadership of the coordinating Summer Smooches products (April Special – see sidebar).  Our bags and tote were made of the fabric as were the aprons worn by the Make&Take helpers.  And the  matching Fancy Favor  treat holder was really […]
