Tutorial: Magical Washi Tape Technique

Posted: Friday, July 12th, 2013 @ 3:18 pm in Projects | 2 Comments »

I was looking for a background technique to use for a #2013Convention swap using one of my favorite new stamp sets – Wetlands.  After seeing the Magical Masking Tape Technique (with painters tape) I thought, hmm, I bet you could do that with my new favorite accessory – Washi Tape!  So here’s the card I designed and a […]

Wetlands

The Wetlands set is one of my favorites from the new catalog.  Here are the runners up in my quest to find an interesting background for next Tuesdays class and a convention swap. First, I used a few Stampin’ Write Markers to brush on the cardstock:   Then I markered onto the acrylic block and stamped the block […]

I love the new personalized stamps in the SU catalog (p. 135).  Use them for weddings, address labels, whatever you want to say!  Order them in my online store at www.kwstamps.stampinup.net I did one with the SU copyright (ALT 0169), so I can sell my handmade cards.  Here are the 3 that I bought:

Mosaic Madness was one of my first new sets in this catalog year.  Here’s a simple card with this versatile set and a sentiment from “Four You”.

Wildflower Meadow

Wildflower Meadow and the matching embossing folder are a popular new combination.  You can get the bundle of both at 15% off.  My current hostess code is JX49AVC7.  I stamped in Sahara Sand and went over the image with ink and blender pen.

Daydream Medallions

Posted: Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013 @ 8:32 am in Projects | No Comments »

I have had the Daydream Medallions set for a while (free set from Convention) and decided to dust it off.  This card was very easy with the Stamp-a-ma-jig to keep all the medallions in position.  The buttons, colors and sentiment are all new in the 2013-14 catalog.
