Kits are a great way to make some easy cards, but still add some personalization and the handmade touch.

Today’s Tips:

-Use extra kit pieces to decorate the envelopes or to make more cards.

-Sponge or brayer ink onto the plain stripes.  Wipe ink off the glossy stripes with a tissue.

-Try adding different stamped sentiments to your kit pieces.

-Play around with different layouts.   Tomorrow I’ll show an example of this.

This kit makes 8 cards.  Here I sponged some coordinating ink on the top and bottom (didn’t think of it until the cards were already assembled or I would have colored the whole card!)

Here, I just added Whisper White cards and envelopes using the extra pieces of the kit.  I cut out the frame, adhered to the card and stamped in the center.
