I confess, I’ve been hoarding my Watermelon Wonder Satin ribbon wondering how to use it.  After seeing 2 great cards to CASE , I cut into it and make these 2 lovely (and easy) cards.

Today’s Tips:

-Click on the photos to enlarge.

-It’s hard to make knots with a wide ribbon.  For the first card, I just tucked a small piece around and attached it underneath the flat ribbon.  For the second, I took a 5″ piece and tied it in a knot around the flat ribbon.  I laid a piece of Watermelon Wonder sequins (from the January Paper Pumpkin kit) inside the knot.

-Designer Series Paper – Birthday Bouquet – just cut 2″ into the center of the panel and fold it back, adhering to a Thick Whisper White card base.

-Stamp sets used were:  What I Love and Suite Sayings.     All supplies are Stampin’ Up! -you can get them at my website shop.
