Presents & Pinecones
***The Online Extravaganza begins Monday November 21***
The Christmas Pines and the matching Pretty Pines thinlit dies by Stampin’ Up! are proving to be very popular this season. The stamp set is 25% off in November too! I’m featuring these in my November class and in a series on this blog, so check back all month for more ideas. Here’s an easy Christmas card that we made at class.
Colors
Dimensions
Card base – 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored at 4-1/4 – Cherry Cobbler
Instructions
Stamp the pine bough on each side of the card with the Emerald Envy Ombre inkpad, overlapping in the center. Tap the pad hard a number of times in a slightly circular motion onto the upside down stamp to pick up the ink. I used the darker color at the tips. Curve the photopolymer greeting stamp on the block before inking. Squeeze the Wink of Stella pen once gently over your scrap paper to get the ink flowing. Tap the end with your finger or against the cap. Move over to your card once you get the speckle size that you like. Add a strip of Washi Tape towards the bottom.
Today’s Tip
You can also add some Clear Wink of Stella to the pine boughs for a subtle shimmer.
