I was asked to give instructions for the quick and easy treat holders I showed at class this week.  All are made with a 6 x 6 sheet of Designer Series Paper.  And my favorite DSP stack at the moment – Warmth & Cheer – is half price this month!

Here are the supplies that I used – all are on sale right now.   You can find them at my website shop under the Year End Closeout Sale or click on the thumbnails at the bottom of this post.   The Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies are current unavailable, but they are due back in stock on Jan 16.  I love the little Christmas Trinket Embellishments.  Why did I wait so long to get these cute little charms?!

Today’s Tips:

Top Container:  This is the classic sour cream container.  Just roll the 6×6 piece until it looks like a toilet paper tube.  Adhere  with a strong adhesive like Fast Fuse or Tear & Tape.  Fold and glue one end shut and then turn 90 degrees and fold the other end.  I punched a hole and added some twine.

Bottom Container:  This is similar, but the bottom is scored, cut and folded like a box.  Here I sketched out the dimensions.  Score on the dashed line at 1-3/8″ and then cut on the solid lines at 1-3/8″ increments, removing the last little block. Again, adhere at one end.  Then  fold together and adhere the bottom squares.  Again, I punched a hole at the top and made a bow of twine and added a charm.  Or just fold over the top and add a clip.

The middle container:  This is a classic pouch.  No adhesive needed for this fold!

Fold in half diagonally.

Fold one tip over to the 3-1/2″ mark.

Fold the other tip over so it follows the same line as the first one and the tip reaches the opposite corner.

Fold down the top flap.
