I’m stocking up on Stampin’ Up! Note Cards & Envelopes while they are on sale for World Card Making Day.  I’m amazed at how quickly I can create with these little cards.  Some projects are quite simple with just a little stamping.  On some I just added a little Designer Series Paper (also on sale) and with some I made a little fancier with some die cutting.  I made a mini-album and some tags too!  Try some of your favorite layouts with the Note Cards – you’ll be surprised at how much you can do with them.  And another benefit – you don’t have to write as much on the inside!  And since the envelopes are included, you can stamp on them too then have them mailed in a flash.

I had my Watercolor Christmas stamp set out for a card class this week using the kit.  But the cheerful sentiments and sweet little trees are perfect for the Note Cards too.  The Designer Paper that I used, Be Merry, is included in the Buy 3 Get 1 free sale.

These are some display cards I made last month when I featured the Artistically Asian stamp set in my class.  I used markers to get multiple colors on one stamp.  A little gold embossing, Washi Tape, black rhinestones and Copper Trim are other ways to dress up these cards.

Here are some quick cards with Gourd Goodness and Painted Harvest.  The Painted Autumn Designer Paper is also part of the Buy 3 Get 1 Free sale this month.

Hearts Come Home and the Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies step up this note card.  I used Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper for the die cut.  The die cut circle is backed in Pool Party Cardstock that was embossed with Softly Falling and then gently swiped with Whisper White craft ink to make the snow pop.  A few sequins add more bling.  You should probably use the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the sentiment in the right spot – it was a tight fit and I’m glad I remembered to use it.
