A Stamper To Remember

Celebrate You

The Celebrate You Thinlits Dies by Stampin’ Up! have been a real hit this Sale-a-bration.  I’ve already shown a few ideas and here are some more.

For these cards, I diecut the words from the Color Theory paper to give an ombre look.  A simple dry embossed background and some glitter enamel shapes finish the cards.

Here is another interesting background – watercolor paper and Brusho – new in the Occasions Catalog.  Spritz the paper first, sprinkle on some Brusho and then spritz again to spread the color.  Dry, stamp and then add the diecuts.

I made this card entirely from scraps at one of the crops I attended.  I had the black piece with a circle cut out and mounted it over a scrap of watercolor paper that had Brusho applied.  The “amazing” was diecut from a scrap of Painted with Love Designer Series paper – another favorite product from the Occasions catalog.

More Painted with Love DSP is featured on these 2 cards.  I put a second diecut from Basic Black Cardstock behind the lower celebrate to make it stand out.  I could have done the Eclipse Technique instead for a similar look.

Today’s Tip:

-Before diecutting, add some Mulitpurpose Adhesive sheet behind your paper.  Then it is a snap to adhere the narrow words.

-The Celebrate You dies will be available for sale in the next Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog (June 1), but why not get them FREE during Sale-abration this month?

Happy crafting,

Kim Wilson
