Waterfront

The Waterfront stamp set by Stampin’ Up! has been one of the top hits of the season.  It is so much fun to play with the watercolor like stamps to make beautiful scenes.  I combined it with the Barn Door bundle at my last class to make a tri-fold frame.  If you want the instruction sheet – sign up for my newsletter and request the Waterfront CardClass.

Stampin Up, Waterfront

Stampin Up, Waterfront

On the left, I stamped on Whisper White Cardstock with no blending.  On the right, I stamped on Watercolor Paper.  After each color I blended with an Aquapainter.  I also took some Early Espresso ink and added rocks in the water and on the shoreline and ridges on the mountain.  I added some snow and whitecaps with a chalk marker.

Waterfront is a great stamp set for easy cards and also if you want to discover your inner artist!

Here are a few more of my creations with this fun set.  This one I recreated from a photo of the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip to Thailand.  To read more about my first incentive trip, check out this post.

Here are a couple more photos I recreated from a 4th of July family gathering at Lake Erie.

Experiment with different colors and adding stamps from other stamp sets.  Enjoy this versatile stamp set and feel like an artist!
