It’s time to share my last  cards using the Country Home stamp set.  I wish I could create some more with the Country Lane Suite, but it’s time to move on to a new favorite from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.

This card evolved after I tried to cut the embossed piece and it tore.  But that just gave me an opportunity to be more creative.

Today’s Tip:  Be sure your cardstock panel is the right size BEFORE dry embossing.

Here I added a Christmas Designer Series Paper (Joyous Noel – it is gorgeous) and stamp set (Peaceful Noel).  You can put any type of foliage in the milk can to change the season!  The bundle also includes the Sprig punch which I haven’t tried yet, but looks promising.

Today’s Tip:

Mask off the sides of the milk can to stamp the patterned background.

Cover any unwanted part of the sentiment with scotch or washi tape, ink up, then remove tape before stamping.
